Advanced Email Locator is a helpful and easy-to-use piece of software designed for processing email addresses to obtain detailed information, such as country of email address registration (state for USA only), code, initial string, domain owner's name, address and so on. Apart from this geographical segmentation, the application has another special feature: it can tell you whether an e-mail is hosted on a "Free email" server (a server that provides free e-mail addresses, such as Hotmail). In order to do so, Advanced Email Locator uses the special service provided by the company site and a database containing information about over 20000 "Free email" servers which are regularly updated. In order to tell the country of e-mail registration, this software uses information obtained from “whois servers” (servers that store information about domain names). This information is processed with special algorithms so as to retrieve the requested data. The program runs on Windows '95, Windows '98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 and Windows XP with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher installed. This software is shareware (it can be downloaded and used for free during a 30 day trial period) and registration is required only after the 30 day trial period.
